Exilis is a new post-blossom thinning solution for apples. It is most efficient when used as part of a programmed approach to fruit thinning. Trials programmes have highlighted the efficiency of fruit thinning and high levels of crop safety offered by exilis. Its application also increases final fruit size, above and beyond the thinning effect. In cultivars where thinning can be difficult, or when extra aggressive thinning is needed, exilis can be tank mixed or applied sequentially with other thinners.
